Special Guest 92.3 NOW FM’s DJ Yonny (an IAR grad) will run a session on the music business and his career in radio. Chat with IAR alums in a private break-out room. Attend exciting presentations including a MIDI demo, a ProTools acoustic mix, an audio post-production demo, and the live recording of a band in IAR’s studio suite.

Back by popular demand on Thursday, October 20 at 6:30, IAR instructor Mesta Bish will walk you through the creative and exciting process of remixing a JAY-Z song. You will sit behind one of IAR’s iMac Pro Tools stations and have a hands-on remixing experience with one of our Pro Tools Sessions. Mesta Bish is a freelance studio engineer, consultant and production programmer who got into the audio industry as an intern at the age of 12. Working his way up the ladder over the next 10 years, he received countless engineering credits on independent releases as well as commercial releases from audio CDs to soundtrack scores for DVD.
This is an introductory class, so no experience is necessary.
Also, you’ll have the chance to speak with our admissions staff about the IAR program and learn about the school.

We will soon be releasing the name of our music guest. This Open House will also include a hands-on mixing session where you will be in front of a digital audio workstation, an audio post-production demo, speak to alumni and a chance to experience the live recording of a band in IAR's studio. You can also check out music videos from IARecords in the music video lounge.
