The Institute of Audio Research seeks to make a post-secondary education affordable for all students, and participates in a number of governmental and institutional funding programs to assist students. Governmental assistance is only available for qualified students who are enrolled in an eligible program.
Offers of financial assistance are determined on a case-by-case basis and are only communicated to students in writing by members of the Financial Aid Office staff after a student has fully completed and filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
A student’s financial need is calculated by conducting a “needs analysis” according to a methodology established by the U.S. Department of Education. In order to meet a student’s need, the Financial Aid Office may suggest a package of aid that includes a grant, a loan, and/or an institutional scholarship.
There is never a charge to apply for financial aid. Prospective studentsconsidering enrolling at IAR are invited to meet with financial aid representatives first, to determine their eligibility so that they may make an informed decision before entering into an enrollment agreement
