Game Audio & Sound for Picture Program

225 Clock-Hours

The face of entertainment media looks very different than it did just a few years ago. The average American has now lost track of how many devices they own. The popularity of these devices is in the available content and this content is built upon the marriage of sound and image. This Concentration is designed to expose students to the workflow and techniques required to work in the creative worlds of audio production and post production for film, television and video games. Students will receive hands on experience with professional equipment in a series of production post production and game audio scenarios. This concentration covers the theory, content and exam associated with the Pro Tools 210P Operator Certification as well as the 130 Pro Tools for Game Audio Certification.

To enroll into this program, the student must have completed a related audio program and/or must be able to demonstrate equivalent technical fundamental knowledge and skills as determined by the Institute of Audio Research.
